We listen to your concern, ask you a well-structured series of questions in order to understand what's useful and necessary to your problem/injury and create a personalised rehabilitation program, either to fix it and/or to prevent getting injured again.
If you are in a rush, can't really find time to go to a clinic, but still needing some physio treatment and want to manage your time whenever and wherever you want, that's the best choice!
We will work with you and assist you in all the necessary steps.
The online physiotherapy consultation process is the same as if you were in an in-person consultation. You will receive all of the benefits, just delivered online instead.
The majority of musculoskeletal injuries are suitable for online physiotherapy consultation, but some conditions do require “hands on” assessment and treatment. Naturally, if Iwedetermine that your injury or situation is not suitable for an online consultation and it requires to see a physiotherapist or other health professional “face to face”, we’ll tell you!

How does and Online-Physio help you?
How can a physio help you online?
Physiotherapy is traditionally perceived as a “hands on” profession. Actually, this is only a part of what physiotherapists do. Educating you about your condition, identifying factors from your lifestyle that help or not, giving advices and suggestions and creating exercise programs, are the big part that a physiotherapist does in her/his profession.
In our clinical practice, we have often followed patients on the phone or by email, writing, talking and helping them with images and videos, giving simple suggestions, creating rehabilitiation programs or suggesting to refer to some specialist.
An online physio does the same anamnesis as a normal physio. They listen to your problem, ask you a well-structured series of questions in order to discover what is useful and necessary to know about your injury and can ask you to perform movements like tests asking your feedback regarding these. In this way the physio should have an idea of your problem, in order to create a clear framework to follow, with your compliance and feedbacks, with a personalised rehabilitation program and a maintenance program to help to prevent you to get injured again. Exactly as a normal physio. And like normal physio they will work with you and assist you in all these steps.
So, the online physiotherapy consultation process is almost the same as if you were to visit a physio in a studio. You will receive all of the benefits, just delivered online instead.
This puts you in much more control of your own recovery: you can understand your problem, follow the program and taking everything under control whenever and wherever you want!
All of this can be done surprisingly well through an online format. This means that you can get your injury personally assessed via any combination of webforms, video consultations and email. You can receive your personal rehabilitation plan directly to your computer or smartphone via written report with or without images/video.
The majority of musculoskeletal injuries are suitable for online physiotherapy consultation, but some conditions do require “hands on” assessment and treatment. Naturally, if we determine that your injury or situation is not suitable for an online consultation and it requires to see a physiotherapist or other health professional “face to face”, we’ll tell you!
If you have any question, if you want to know more about physiotherapy online or if you want to fix your problem, contact us!
NB: there is extensive research evidence to support online physiotherapy: research, in fact, has shown that outcomes can be better through online consultation, due to the empowering nature of the system.
